I have had some that I have seen pig out on food and wait too long to go get a drink. They choke like this for a while.. eventually it worked itself out so I hope that is all that's going on with yours!

I went out to get the little fella and bring it in... I was looking, and I couldn’t even tell which one it was at first. He’s no longer breathing heavy and he’s 100% back to normal! They’re all running around and being mischievous again!

Excellent news. I know it’s so hard to watch one struggle, we feel so helpless. But usually the little things do work out on their own. Thank goodness it did this time.

I agree! It certainly is, I always feel so helpless and it breaks my heart.

Me too! I’m so glad it’s alright.

The little malposition is still working on absorbing. Still seems to have some active blood vessels. The membrane seems dry and absorbed but he still blood in some spots, so I’m waiting. Seems alright.

How is Pickle doing?

Thanks for asking! Pickle is doing pretty well. He is very energetic and running around. However he will not eat the crumbles. I’ve tried mixing them with water and making a mash. I’ve tried putting a bit on my finger but he won’t eat it.
I got him to eat some mashed up scrambled eggs. He went crazy and eats those really good. I’m not sure what else to do. I’ve never had this problem. Things just aren’t going well this time around.

Well the malposition was able to wiggle himself out. His navel doesn’t look very good. It is protruding and looks like it didn’t close all the way. Looks a bit red/bloody. I have zinc free antibiotic ointment. Should I dab a bit on there? His leg is a bit gimpy too so I have him in a little cup sitting in the incubator for now. Very wobbly.
