One of my hens hatched this little one yesterday. I know it is a bantam, but I have no idea who the parents are! I have most all of my birds free ranging atm, so it's hard to say. Too bad too, cause this is surely a pretty baby! It will be interesting to see how it feathers out. I am pretty sure the dad is a silver sebright, and mom is most likely a golden sebright mix? But I'm not sure!!

I think that I have a couple that are similar but that one is real nice. I've got a little of this and that, mostly that?

Nice looking chick! Reminds me a little of Sicilian Buttercup chicks.

Definitely post pics of it again when it's older!

Quote:You know, I had thought of that too? But the only buttercup I have is about 4 weeks old, so I know that's not it! Someone else had said maybe EE? That is possible, though all my bantam EE's are blue, so I would think this chick would be either partly blue or black? But it sure is pretty!

I had another hatched out today from a different hen that is black with a yellow face? That is a different one, don't think I've seen one like that either!
