Before I post an ad and try to give this bird away, I want a second opinion on the gender. He started crowing today, but I’ve read that some hens will make similar sounds when they’re getting to the point of laying. I’m pretty sure those are saddle feathers there too. And if anyone has a guess as to the breed, that would be helpful too. The breeder told us American Bresse, but his comb doesn’t look right and his legs are light pink, not blue. Maybe some kind of cross?
