Princes or Princesses cochin bantam chicks

Hello all these are my 2 cochin bantam chicks they are around 8 weeks now (photos are of them at 6 weeks)

are they boys or girls

frits (black) frizzle (white)

Cochins are one of those that can go from hen to roo overnight

I have found that with mine, color is more indicative of gender than size of comb at this age.

I am putting my guess in that the black one is going to be roo.

I think the black one is a boy. Just looks that way, his comb is much redder and seems bigger.

I dont mind if the balck one is a roo just as long as the white one is a girly so i can make some babies

I think the white is a girl. The black one def looks more 'roo'ish'

I think they are both girls. My bantam cochins are 7 weeks old, and the roos already have much larger combs, and redder. But that's my batch of them!

since I took those pics the black one's come has stayed the same size and has turned more yellowish aswell
