Yep i am so going to do the femented veggie thing next and Yes that crock is on my wish list for christmas but don't think I can wait a full year! Would it be wrong to ask for Hello spring or summer or or or Present~~ By the way whatever did Happen to Joe He hasnt been on in a while!!???????

And what does taking the DE do for you?

DE is silica and has many uses for human and animal consumption! I use it to help with arthritis pain in my elbows and Knees and Yes I do believe it has helped as I was feeling no pain for a while and quit taking thinking well I don't have any pain so I will stop! The pain came back in about a month so I started back and the pain went away again! So I just use it 2 to 3 times a week and don't have the athritis pain! BTW I don't do aspirin or tylenol for the pain Only Oils and Drink my DE slurry! I always us it in the chickens dust baths too I forgot to add and in the pen for fly control!! I have got a website somewhere that tells more about the Human uses for DE and will send it too you when I find it!!

I use DE as well though not daily now. The DE helped my arthritis a great deal but what totally vanished the swelling, creaking and pain was VCO, unrefined virgin coconut oil. That has become a daily staple in our home. 20 years of each knee giving me awaycracking as I would walk up the stairs. I'd never be able to sneak up on anyone with the crack, crack, crack! 2 weeks into daily doses of vco and I am absolutely silent as I go upstairs. Folks who have known me forever are amazed as I was always pointed out for the noise. No more pain, no more meds, in the last 1 1/2 years I've had one day where I needed 1 inflammation pill.

I can't wait to see what drinking kefir will do for us!

OHHHH made a "sweet cream"Kefir smoothie tonight and oh my. . . so good.

8oz container
kefir
1/3 filled with ice
1/2 tsp vanilla +-
1/2 tsp powered stevia
Blended

BTW I don't think I answered your one question and that was No the pretty well eat it as with the dusty stuff in the bottom of the pan I use the Mix Kefir in with that and they gobble it up like its a treat and clean the pan out daily! I am going to make a big feeder this year but I will keep the pans handy to add the dusty filtering stuff from the feed (Shouldnt be as much with the new feeder) and mix it in with Kefir and DE to feed! I am feeding about a quart of Kefir every other day and I don't see any problems with this! The Keifer lady says she feeds hers daily so I am guessing it is fine to continually feed!!

After mixing it should look like a slight dusting is all.

Wow My feed store mixes my feed for me per me and bag it! I just been throwing it in the feed and hand mixing with kefir! BUT I kinda like that idea i could have them mix it with the feed and all I have to do is buy the DE and then Feed the feed and OH still give them their Kefir for a treat HeHeHe they don't have a clue or Do they that the Kefir is actually good for them LOL!
