Purelychicks
Songster
It hatched by itself but through the wrong end. I never helped it but its naval is attached to the egg shell so when it walks around the incubator it pulls the shell with it. It’s finally asleep so I’m hoping it will absorb it by itself. I had one hatch last night and it had a smal unabsorbed yolk somebody said just leave them in the incubator and it will finish absorbing. This chick that has some left it’s only a little smaller than marble sizedPut it in a cup or bowl with paper towels on the bottom to hold it in place to give it time to absorb the yolk. The legs can be fixed as well. Search for unabsorbed yolk and sure you will find more details on how to help.
Did it hatch on its own or did you assist? Any pics of chick and unabsorbed yolk?
