I would like to see a scientific reference for that....I am unaware of the ability to breed for bird resistance.Some milo or feed grain is bred to repel birds. If you have ever seen a ripe field of milo during the fall black bird migration you can understand the farmers' need for bird resistant milo.
Chickens btw are birds and avian resistant milo repels chickens, or at least that is the theory.
