Kiwi dove into the pool and splashed around for a few minutes, but when he tried to get out he failed miserably and was stuck hanging on the side flappung his wings and screaming before falling back in. Pear walked away in embarrassment and disgust

That is what he gets for trying to show off in front of his girlfriend.

More often than not I think he just tolerates me because I am the bringer of treats and the creature that lets them out to free range. Also, the one who comes running whenever he sounds an alarm or eye balls the sky because of a hawk. I am pretty sure he does not see me as a threat to him or the girls. In fact, when we go out to range he and Lydia stay together and Pauline follows me around about half the time. So he may think I am Pauline's mate and that is o.k. with him.

Oh, I´m quite sure he´ll mate with her once his favourite is busy on a nest, or even before that. So interesting, though. Just goes to show that geese prefer to be in pairs really.

Oh, I´m quite sure he´ll mate with her once his favourite is busy on a nest, or even before that. So interesting, though. Just goes to show that geese prefer to be in pairs really.

This afternoon Sam got into the pool and all the rest gathered round to look at him ,but not 1 got in with him pretty much ignored him walked away so he got out and joined them. So maybe mating is on hold for now between him and Toots haven't heard the victory yell in several days.

The dogs got ahold of a stuffed animal....!! Luckily the geese never found it.
