I'm going to have to get this on video somehow... but I have 3 pullets in their enclosure in the garage right now and they have knocked their food thing off the upside down metal container it's resting on (to make it taller) and they are pecking at the metal and it sounds JUST LIKE DRUMMING! It's like I've got a steel drum band in the garage. It's amazing. They actually have a rhythm and everything! AMAZING!
Chickens are so smart. The three outside (year old's) can outsmart my Shih Tzu in a heartbeat. He tries to herd them around and they wander about unamused. Then they "fly" to the top of their coop and watch him search all over the yard for them. He never thinks to look up.
