That means lots coming from someone as talented as you, Barbara! I did find fabric for the backing and binding of the Tennessee Waltz quilt, plus some pretty lavender for the setting triangles in this Carpenter's Wheel quilt at Walmart--miraculously, they still had the same ones as they did three weeks ago, but I noticed they are getting in the new spring fabrics now. That's my favorite time to be in the fabric department!
You are a very industrious lady...adding the star border all the way around the quilt!!!
Lucky too to find the fabrics you need to finish it.
WOW is all I can say!
Well, Kathryn, I'm trying to be industrious. I'm fighting a bad tooth all month till my new dental insurance kicks in, so that is slowing me down. I have six of those blocks finished- I did those in different colors on the other medallion I did last year and some call that block a Winged Four Patch and some call it an Indian Star. It's an easy one-see them marching around this other quilt?
Best laid plans always go astray for me--had to go back to the original plan for the pillow tuck. Once I changed the stars to on point, the block size was, of course, different, and somehow, I miscalculated. If I continued with my plan, I'd run out of a certain fabric, which I'm quickly doing on some colors anyway, so I went back to the original plan. Happens to me all the time, I shift gears, but then don't change up the other stuff that logically changes as well, such as fabric yardages, and have to improvise. See, this is why I never know what a quilt is going to look like till it's done, LOL! Anyway, I have to rethink what to do next. I have 9 more blocks made like the pillow tuck with plenty of setting triangles to do about the same thing on the bottom as on the top, but what to do with the sides?
It's a wonder I ever finish anything at all.
Added the strip at the bottom, so now, have to figure out the sides. I have a few of the blocks, but am running out of some of the fabric (naturally, it's the story of my life).
Well, I removed the entire bottom row of blocks because this darn thing was going to be floor length, LOL. I had some really gorgeous tone-on-tone dark purple with purple roses and I just did a 6" border all the way around and called it DONE. Then, I basted the Tennessee Waltz quilt and will begin quilting it tomorrow, then when I'm finished with that, I'll quilt Ranee's.
Oh, honey, that's my curse, too. And my eyes are bad and the lighting in my house is so weird and glarey, I misread the ruler and then don't discover it till it's too late to fix. I'm about to put away all my fabrics since now I have two quilts to quilt and it will be awhile before I piece another one. I've done so much lately, I need a short break, I think.

I have problems with double vision and have to frequently rest my eyes. But your quilts are so beautiful!!
This is the time of year that I work more on quilting since it is too cold out for anything else.
DH, bless his heart, says that when they don't line up just right that it makes them more unique!
