The lab in Florida can differentiate between o . O and O . O for the blue egg gen.She does have a blue egg test that was in development and I believe it is now available! I am planning on getting that done from her in the future.
@TheSilkieLab correct me if I’m wrong! If she sees this message, I am also wondering if the blue egg test differentiates between one copy of the blue egg gene or two copies. I know the lavender color test does but I’m not sure if it’s possible with the egg color test.
All three will tell you if your bird carries zero, one or two copies of each gene. Please feel free to reach out if anyone has any questions!
