DutchChic, You know, that 1 winter coop sounds good about now..it is tough dealing with all ours..and to top it off the chickens wont come out in the snow, so that means every time it snows we must shovel each run or part of it so they can get outside daily..
I remember those days with one coop and no real fuss taken care it..but it does make life somewhat more enjoyable
We got 14 water heaters and a bunch of swap out waters for my quails done twice daily..
Plus keeping all the feeders filled, then we got about 5 brooders going now and maybe another 3 to add to that coming..but hey, its really worth it in the long run....Its not a hobby its an adventure..lol
Hope the Eagles go all the way this year..they have there practices about 30 Min's from our house in the summer..
