Prolapsed Drake Penis, I think (pics)

I’ve been keeping a close on Quackie’s growth thing. This morning it seems like it has shrunk considerably! I think I will throw him in a warm tub tonight and take a better look at it. Pics to come this evening.
I've just read through your thread.
I admit I did do a fair amount of squirming around reading the information and looking at the (outstanding) pictures you posted. I just wanted to say that you are doing a fabulous job caring for your drake and I wish you both the very best.

THANK YOU! that means a great deal <3 . I work in the OR so I don’t get squirmy too bad. However, my heart aches when my animals are hurting. So that’s what I have been struggling with! But he doesn’t really seem to be in any pain currently.
I’m anxious to see how it looks close up. I just hope that it worked!

I also hope it worked!
I have A LOT of difficulty working on my animals, especially when they cry. That just gets me. I don't want to hurt them any more than they already are. But I've done a fair amount of home wound and illness care. I don't really know many that can afford to take their animal to the vet for every little thing. Not that what you are dealing with is a "little thing".
Your experiences in the OR will serve you very well in caring for your flocks.

x2! Well no wonder you have done such a wonderful job with the OR experience. I think your other calling is a photographer. Seriously good pics!

See I really think that has to help with treating injuries and illnesses! Ugh nasty teeth gets me too! I can see other people's blood and guts but if it is mine, hello darkness and the floor. :sick
ya, the teeth thing used to make me turn white and dizzy. Only happened once and they never put me in that room again. See, when you work in the OR you are good at some things and not so good at others. I hated ENT, GYN, and teeth. So basically you suck at them when you don't like them so they stop putting you in those rooms unless they absolutely have to! I loved neuro and ortho which everyone else hated so it all evened out!

I don’t really know you guys. His penis looks worse, as it had that dark scaly skin on the tip. In the first pic, it’s very thick scaly skin around the base, next to his body. I picked some off and it bled pretty bad.
The sack thing shrunk definitely but it is just nasty looking around where the suture is tied.

I JUST DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO

Ok, as a fellow OR person, I'm wishing you had a bovie and could burn that thing off. I'm thinking that you proably can't do that but isn't there some kind of portable cautery pencil type thing (that has proably expired) that you can bring home that doesn't require a generator? Seems like we had some ENT thing that did that but since I hated ENT and ran from that room I might be mistaken?
