Ok, as a fellow OR person, I'm wishing you had a bovie and could burn that thing off. I'm thinking that you proably can't do that but isn't there some kind of portable cautery pencil type thing (that has proably expired) that you can bring home that doesn't require a generator? Seems like we had some ENT thing that did that but since I hated ENT and ran from that room I might be mistaken?

I was hoping I could snip it off tonight but I feel is too risky. There is a portable cautery used for eyes. We stock them as we are a trauma center and there is one oral maxillofacial doc that likes that kind of cautery. There is NO WAY I could get one of those unless it was a used one (ew).
I’m loosing hope with this fella and his penis. There is so much of that scaly skin, how do I care for that?

Also, 2 of my duck hens are lame and limping everywhere. I’m about ready to cry.

I knew there was another option of OR cases I never did do and that would be eyes! I only did big neuro, ortho and general cases. Did tons of major trauma. Heck, I'd take a used eye cautery pencil and use it on a duck weinie! It's not like it's the other way around! I mean think about it, eyes to weiner or weiner to eyes! If you can grab one of those it would be awesome! burn that thing off somehow.

Ok, I know this is WAY out there but if you work at a small facility, is there any way you could slide the duck in and do it in the OR? Say, like on the weekend? I know a lot of day surgery centers don't do anything then but I'm sure you know how to work a bovie! Ya, ok, so I 'm psycho but just trying hard to figure out a way to get this poor duck better.

Our facility is not that small. Lol no way I’d be able to sneak him in.

I wanted to do that, right where I tied the suture. I think I could do it; I feel like the blood supply is a lot less since tying it off.
