Puff needs help and prayers.

Thank you. She is walking around every little bit. She spends time everywhere in her area of the brooder. I had to separate her form the other chicks in the brooder cause they were pecking her. She was sepperating herself from the rest and they were excluding her from their eating sessions.she is pecking the wall and laying down right now. The temp is 95. She is pecking at the wall again.she is high spirited, but lethargic and not eating. Butt pooping.

Okay, its good you separated her. Can you put a stuffed animal in there for her? Something she can cuddle with? Its good she has her own space, but something nice that wont peck her, maybe even a warm bag of rice, will give her comfort since they are social animals.

Its good she moves around, so I wouldn't worry about temp. She soudns like she's doing alright compared to other chicks i've seen. She will just need a little bit of help.
Try the molasses and add sugar to her water. Keep us posted!

Ya there some at the feed store that we could tell were not going to make it. It they were hanging on with all the strength they had left.

I'm going to do that soon. Ali gave her a little bit of the crumble mixed with warm water but she only ate a little bit. She was to exhausted to eat any of the scrambled eggs we made. Her left eye only opens sometimes. I am going to get a 4 ounce bottle of nutridrench in about a half hour.when I get back I will try the water and molalses
