Give the tylan a chance to kill it, give it a couple of days at least..

Holy smokes this is a busy time of year haven't been on in a couple days it wasn't getting any better the swelling was getting worse so we drained it again so frustrating it was recommended that I send it off to a state lab but I have no idea how to even go about doing that so I have to look into that. I know VA Tech has an excellent veterinary school so I called them but they don't do duck so

I just got of the phone with the state lab and they said they could run a culture and sensitivity test on the pus but it's a couple hours away so I don't think I can get it to them till friday

Don't give up hope on the guy! It's amazing that you are going to the trouble to have it cultured.

I just hope they can tell me what it is and how to fix him. I must admit I have a soft spot for him

Are you personally friends with any vets. I know quite a few and if I ask very nicely they will look up in their book dosing information for metacam, which is a pain reliever.
