Pullet attacked by a hawk, resulting wing injury....

I personally would do it every day if she doesn’t stress tooo much.
Whatever is best for Mouse. :) Will do. Which is another factor that intimidated me....she's a highly active little girl who never fails to put up a fair struggle when we wrap her. Hopefully this won't hinder the healing process. :hmm
Nice job Alex. Mouse is a beautiful, very lucky girl!
Thank you so very much, WV. :hugs I'm amazed how tough she's proven to be.

Mouse officially shed her bandage tonight! :) Everything appears to be closed up quite nicely, much to my surprise (how did it happen so quickly?). I'll continue watching the area, and cleaning as needed. :D Little stinker has returned to picking on her siblings as before, and acting completely normal.

My final update - Mouse was doing so well, I thought it appropriate to take some adorable pictures of her doing what she did best: free ranging. But I never got a chance to. All that's left of her is a small pile of feathers. :hit I couldn't possibly be more heartbroken. Thank you all so much for your support throughout her journey....it allowed me a couple more weeks with my little girl. :hugs Not only was Mouse a beloved pet, but she turned out to be a wonderful learning experience. She will never be forgotten.
