I bought chick from a hatchery and was given a free chick I'm new to the chicken world and wonder if anyone can tell me the breed of this chicken and if it's a pullet or a cockeal

Age would definitely help, it looks pretty rooish to me.

I don't know the breed but I'm thinking rooster. Maybe you could ask the hatchery? The may keep a record of stuff like this.

Provided it does end up being a roo, I don't see a reason it wouldn't. Roos will generally breed with any hen.
