Pullet or cockerel Dominique?

Pictures of my 4 Dominique’s the one in question I have the pictures numbered from 1-4 the other 3 I am fairly certain are pullets. They are around 17 weeks of age and are within a few days of each other because they were all roughly the same size when I got them. They were all supposed to be pullets but for a few weeks I’ve been suspicious of the one in question. What do y’all think? Sorry if the pictures are not in order, I tried but once uploaded they were out of order.

The breeder told me they were all dominques but that they have a barred gene.

Well, Dominique's and Barred Rocks all have the barring gene. All your birds are barred, but what makes the difference is that D's have rose combs, and BRs have single. If you look closely, your dark bird has a single comb.

All pretty pullets! I agree, the 4th is a Barred Rock, not a Dominque. Your 3rd chook isn't Dom, either (pea comb instead of the standard rose). She appears to be a crossbreed.

Lol, I am picking up around a dozen a day now from the golden comets and Colombian Wyandotte I bought that we’re already laying. I’ve yet to see any from the ones I’ve raised from chicks though.

Have you ever seen pullet eggs, then? They are comically small the first fall. Something to look forward to!
