There are only 8 excepted colors of ameraucana, and ameraucanas have slate or black legs (not green). If you post pictures of your other girls we can help you fins out if they are ameraucanas or easter eggers. They also have pea combs on muffs and beards.

Purebred Ameraucanas are sold on some hatcheries for $20 for a chick! I have had both birds. I currently have a beautiful splash ameraucana pullet, that lays a pale aqua egg. I have had Easter Eggers that laid the most gorgeous blue and teal eggs, much prettier than my Ameraucana lays. So in the end it does not really matter, unless you plan to become a breeder!😊

we live in an area where roosters are illegal, hence the original post, so we can't breed our chickens anyways. i think the one time we actually had a purebred ameraucana was when we had to get a chick when one in a pair died. he was a beautiful splash rooster but alas we had to give him away.
