I was hoping to get some helpnwith my kids 4h projects. We have 4 trios, 2 each kid, and we arent allowed roosters, i had already 1 trio turn out to be all roosters...so im hoping these we got now are all hens...these are silver laced wynadottes. I also have blue laced red and gold laced wynadottes and lavendar orpingtons. These guys are just really bossy and seem mean...so i am a tad worried. Right now i want to make sure this trio is good to go. Thank you.

They look like pullets to me but the red bird in the second photo might be a cockerel. Wyandottes are a pushy, bossy breed in general. That’s their personality.

In the first photo the bird in the foreground seems pullet, the bird in the second photo seems pullet. I can't tell on the one in the background in the first photo.
At this age you start to expect saddle feathers on cockerels. And in wyandottes, cockerels start to develop roo-specific feathering on their wings/shoulders (in SLW that would be solid silver feathers without lacing). I can't see any of that on the third bird, but the other two look like pullets to me.

They are looking like pullets.

Wyandottes are very pushy and can be bullies. They are usually at the top of the pecking order because of this. With them, their attitude does not coincide with gender.
