Pullet or Roo?

Yes I would definitely say so. They have a lot of nice pointy saddle feathers, and lots of plumage in their tail feathers. They are really gorgeous though! :)
Thank you! They are quite a pair of love bugs as well. My children's favorites to carry around the yard.

2x Arya28 pertaining to AnnaLK... It's really hard to see the feathering (saddle & hackle) & no tail feathers yet or pecked out? There's less red in the last two pics than the first set you posted, it's throwing me off. So the best thing to do is wait :pop You say it's about 7 - 8wks, you could post another picture in another week or so, or you can wait to see if the crow or egg comes :fl Going by what I see in the last two pics, possible pullet ... Arya28 went from possible pullet to cocerel while I went from cockerel to pullet  Now you will need to keep us updated:hmm

Edited, should have quoted. Cowgrl644 for sure your got BEAUTIFUL ROOS! Love Orpingtons, got 4BOs but someday want Lavendars :)

Haha yes you will definitely have to give us updates!

So, recently I've been beginning to have second thoughts on the gender of my Silver Laced Wyandotte... I live in a neighborhood and cannot have a rooster, so it'd be very bad if she was actually a he!

The feed store said she was sexed, but I know it's still not 100% accurate. The other three all appear to be pullets, though.
Anyways, any thoughts on if she's really a she? She's about 7-8 weeks old.

They are about 18 weeks old at this point. They haven't pecked out feathers. It seems as though the tail plumes are just coming in. I think they went through a molt about 3 weeks ago

Yes those pictures are definitely helpful! When I zoom in though it's still a little difficult to tell if the saddle feathers are coming in pointy or not... if they are pointy (and you will be able to tell) it's a roo. If they are nice and rounded, it's a girl. But it's also hard to tell if it had its saddle feathers completely in yet... girls do tend to feather a little faster than boys.. and because of its stance I'm leaning a little towards it being a boy... but it could be just a runtier girl? Is there a rule that you aren't allowed to have roosters in your neighborhood?

Thanks for the help! Hopefully she'll turn out to be a girl.. maybe it's just a weird teenage phase? And yes, my city allows hens, but you cannot have any roosters.
She's always tended to be kind of skittish, but she has grown a little more bold recently. She is also pretty attached to my EE pullet, but she was housed with her since I brought them home, too... hmm.

My EE tends to be kind of a bully, but I haven't seen any evidence that she's behaving that badly. In fact, she's kind of mellowed out.
I will definitely post updates. I get home in a week, so I'll post more then :D
