We've had these chickens since May 21(this one is supposedly 5 weeks old now). We thought she was a girl when we first got her but now she's beginning to crow in the morning and late at night when she hears things. She also has grown a comb and we've just seen some red markings where a waddle grows. Her shoulders and neck has some red feathers and she definitely the most dominant, friendly, and assertive. Is she a rooster!? We can't have a rooster where we live if she is.
