Pullet or roosters?

I am pretty sure my Buffs are pullets, but not sure

about my 3 Barred Rocks. I got them March 1 at Rural King. Buffs might have been there a week, but BR just came in that day, so about 5-6 weeks old. Can anyone tell me, especially the Barred Rock? I accidentally got them from a straight run tank, but wanted pullets. The Buffs were supposed to be pullets.

I agree, while the rest are likely to make you breakfast this one's likely to to be wakin' you up!

And while I'm no expert on breeds, he's the only one who looks to be barred, the rest look cuckoo?

They are all supposed to be Barred Rocks, but I suppose they could have got mixed up at Rural King.

The Barred Rocks are all barred. Technically, cuckoo is the same gene as barring, it's just a got a different name depending on what breed you are dealing with. The male has two copies of the barring gene, and the females only have a single copy.
