Pullet with swollen face

She's doing worse today, the swelling is more severe, and she's acting lethargic. The swelling feels firm.

This is what I see in her eye:

Her eye is in the back, should I try poking the swollen part in front with a needle?

Could 'massage' the area with a warm moist washcloth, might be soothing for her too. Can put triple antibiotic ointment (without pain meds) directly into the eye. I had good success with my hen putting a drop of Visine for allergy eyes in (no adverse affect and seemed to soothe her eye). I know the Visine for allergy eyes burns at first, but within seconds the sting goes away and it really does take the pain away; I assume it's the same for chicken eyes.

I think the swelling is pushing her beak off to one side, and I don't think she's eating or drinking. Should I poke the swollen part to see if it will drain?
