The white one IS a hen, its just hard to shoe you guys pictures. There isn't a single bit of pink on the comb or waddles, the personality also says says they are both hens + the reaction/reaction tests are awesome and they rarely fail. (swoosh hand across cage, hens sit - roo's stand and watch ... both babies sit when scared, tell me that makes one of them a rooster, not true.)
They are both friendly but when they are scared in their current cage thing they do squat and sit still...its really hard for me to say either of them are cockerals. They just don't show any signs of male gender.
The white one is a mixed breed roo- probably part EE (I am saying roo because of the coloring, and the comb, could be wrong but my first instinct is roo). The partridge one looks like a partridge rock to me also, and looks like a pullet.
My EE roo was a timid little thing as a chick -- he'd run and hide under one of the bigger pullets. He's figuring out how to be a rooster now but a cockerel chick isn't always obvious in his behavior. For that matter, neither is a pullet chick.
