Okay, here is another pic from yesterday. I introduced some 4 wk pullets and cockerels to my three older ones. This is what happened between Nehji and the barred rock cockerel...

I feel safe in naming him a cockerel now as I have not seen a pullet or hen fluff the neck feathers out like that before. BUT, I am a newbie so I could be wrong

The funny thing is, this photo does not confirm his gender at all as pullets can/do fluff up like that - but the bird *is* a cockerel and has been throughout these photos. The photo posted yesterday clearly shows a cockerel.
