Pullets or Cockerels? Looking for a second opinion

Huh? I'm sorry, do you mean if she has two EEs each split to single (which is recessive), she would end up with 25% with single combs?

Both rose combs and pea combs are dominant.
Well, since rose and pea combs are the bases of all other comb types, pp,rr = single comb.

Pp,rr x Pp,rr = 25% single combs

My WTBs have similar combs, they’re listed as pea, I believe..or do some WTB have a straight comb? Isn’t there a lot of variation within comb classifications? Or is it more strict? So, so much to learn...I don’t understand why some think younger birds are Roos by their red faces, my Cuckoo Marans gals had very red faces quite early..I actually thought they were getting injured!

I don't know what you are trying to say.

PP = homozygous pea
RR = homozygous rose
Pp = heterozygous pea
Rr = heterozygous rose
pp = single
rr = single

Pp x Pp (two EEs split to single) = 25% PP (pea) 50% Pp (pea) and 25% pp (single).

Sorry, I thought that there are 4 genes regarding combs? Is that not right? 2 in each chromosome.

So yes, EEs split to single.

I ended up selling all of these birds, but I’m close friends with their new family so I have an update.

I have three two and a half months old mixed breed chicks. I have sexed them myself a few times. But I’d like a second opinion. Here are the first two

This guy turned out to be a Rooster.

And these two laid their first eggs a few days ago!
