That's very true. I have read that. I feel like I should have known that!Ok, thank you, now that I can really see them. Yes, that is a pullet, if it were a rooster the saddle feathers would be longer and pointy.
That's true too. So far I've been going off coloring from what I've read, but I know they can get a whole new set of feathers in the next few weeks.But rooster saddle feathers don't grow in at this early age.
I think those are a little bit older than 4 weeks, maybe 6?I think they're between 4-5 weeks old. I'm not quite sure. We've had them about 4 weeks though.
