Pullets or not?

The saddle feathers are the ones that hang straight down, they are right before the tail begins

Here's what I could get.

Ok, thank you, now that I can really see them. Yes, that is a pullet, if it were a rooster the saddle feathers would be longer and pointy.

That's very true. I have read that. I feel like I should have known that!

I think they're between 4-5 weeks old. I'm not quite sure. We've had them about 4 weeks though.

That's true too. So far I've been going off coloring from what I've read, but I know they can get a whole new set of feathers in the next few weeks.

I think they're between 4-5 weeks old. I'm not quite sure. We've had them about 4 weeks though.

See I'm on the fence with how old they are. We did get them from the feed store. 4 weeks ago. But I forgot to ask how old they were. So to me, from the pics I've seen, I want to say they're 6 weeks, but I could be wrong, I've never had chickens before.
