Could we maybe avoid jokes about sexual assault turning things gay, and the idea that "gay" means "screwed up"?

In addition to helping the dog's confidence, you should probably also try to discourage the goats. It might help his confidence a little if you do something like spray the goats with a hose so they're less inclined to bother him.
 
The goats are establishing their pecking order. Clearly the pup is at the bottom of the totem pole. I have no advice here really.... I would lean towards not letting the goats have access to the dog myself, but that doesn't help them to bond.

This book even starts heeling off leash. Unfortunately for my latest dog my husband didn’t want to follow the book and I had an exacerbation of my fibro so my girl is only partially trained.
