They certainly do grow on you that's for sure! Our chickens and ducks all got their own little personalities. I agree, it is pretty neat when they follow you around and hang out with you.
Last weekend I was sitting in the coop waiting for babies to hatch and I looked over my shoulder to the side and there were several other hens sitting there waiting with me. And we have one chicken, Bubbles, we call her Foreman Bubbles because she is ALWAYS right there in the middle of the action, squawking away. It's quite funny. Oh, I could go on and on with stories.....
