Purple egg!

I got an egg that appears to be purple! I suspect it’s from one of my lavender Orpingtons as she usually has a very pink egg. The bloom is very thick this time. What other color eggs do I need?

… I don’t mean to tempt you.. but a chocolate speckled egg wouldn’t go a miss… potentially a French black copper marans… or a wellsummer….

… I don’t mean to tempt you.. but a chocolate speckled egg wouldn’t go a miss… potentially a French black copper marans… or a wellsummer….

I do have a few black copper Marans but they are getting older and their color isn’t as dark anymore. Time to hatch some more!

I have some, they lay pink eggs. They are going on 3 years.
