My Polish mix lays purple eggs. We guessed she was part EE because of this but she doesn't really have any characteristics. I'll try to get pics tomorrow if I still have any of her eggs left. They are really pretty.

do you have any of her offspring that still lay purplish? I'd love to acquire some!

My Black Astrolorps

I have a chicken that lays a brown egg with a purplish tint to it. It's definitely a different shade than any of the other brown eggs.

I haven't been able to narrow down which chicken lays it though.

my Hens just started laying. They are 26 weeks old. One is laying brown eggs and the other has a pinkish purple tint to it.

My 6 month old Black Australorps are laying different color eggs. One is laying brown and the other is laying pinkish purple tinted eggs.
