Ok thank you so muchHe would be acting sick if that was fowl cholera.
Thank you as wellso glad to hear!
I have antibiotic ointment, alcohol wipes what can I do to him. Our other rooster is a game bantam so his head easily fits through the holes they have fought plenty of time before. That’s him
I agree, likely bruising. Just keep watch on it for now. I wouldn't mess with it.The spot got bigger it spread a bit higher feels like jelly don’t know how to describe it isn’t hard. Eats normal, drinks normal, no lethargic ness, crows normal walks normal, runs to girls coop to dance for them . Pretty much acts normal. This is the material that separates the areas from each other. When they fight he sometimes jumps to the fence and sometimes throw pecks at each other sometimes he rubs his wattle to the fence before when his wattle was normal.
Ima make a pen for the bantam by himself if I put him near my big big girls he’ll probably wake up dead since my welsummers hate himI agree, likely bruising. Just keep watch on it for now. I wouldn't mess with it.
Move the roosters further apart when penning them to avoid this from happening again. If the game bantam is able to get his head in the wire, that is not a good scenario at all.
Jumping and fighting at and through the fence, you can end up with foot/leg/toe/spur injuries, broken beaks or worse.
A separate pen for him would be good. I keep mine from each other that's for sure.Ima make a pen for the bantam by himself if I put him near my big big girls he’ll probably wake up dead since my welsummers hate him
Did your roosters wattle smell?so glad to hear!
