Can't wait to see your pics. :0)No these were my first chicks from my first hatch. The ones I hatched out have not yet been photographed. I'll have to do it tonightStill have many more eggs in the incubator in lockdown. Hopefully me taking the others out didn't hurt them. The humidity didn't drop bellow 60%. I hold it in with a fitted sheet when I remove chicks.![]()
Dandy, yes the eggs in lockdown now are the replacements from the campine.
I just checked my four eggs that are left, two are pipped, with one starting to zip, so hopefully they are out in the morning, can't wait. My silkie did a good job incubating them. So excited.

They kept flipping over and not able to right themselves under the heat lamp. So sad.. One silkie has splayed leg. I am not intervening. Silkies never did well with hobbles. They are too small to properly train. It's not as bad as some I've seen, so she may be just weird when she's older. I have a special needs home for any that turn out like this. As long as she is not in pain, I won't cull her.
Ah well. Green eggs are awesome! Not a single EE has a single comb, which is really good.
