You can add Nutridrench to the waterI also was feeding her this nutri-drench for poultry shooting it down her throat, and blueberries and rice with her wild bird food. i figured that would be enough niacin in that.
You can’t just shoot liquid down their throat they can aspirate. It should e slowly drips at a time with swallowing after each drop.
I did it like the vet showed meYou can’t just shoot liquid down their throat they can aspirate. It should e slowly drips at a time with swallowing after each drop.
That’s why I’m on this forum. She’s got two days to get better or I find her a forever home. So far I’ve had no luck. Nobody has full time hospice care for a duck that I can find. in San Diego California if anyone who sees this can help. You can add Nutridrench to the water
That is good for boosts but this won’t correct niacin issues
She will probably be low on all nutrition with wild bird feed
Scrambled eggs are good if she will eat them
But treats should never be the meal just a treat
She is beautiful but she needs somebody who can put her needs as high priority
If that’s you then great if not finding somebody who can would be best
I even built her a wheelchair so there’s no need to come down on me I’m covering every possible chance at life for her. this is my prototype. That’s why I’m on this forum. I’m sorry but 2 days doesn’t fix niacin issuesThat’s why I’m on this forum. She’s got two days to get better or I find her a forever home. So far I’ve had no luck. Nobody has full time hospice care for a duck that I can find. in San Diego California if anyone who sees this can help.
I been giving her this stuff for a month now. And she’s not my pet. She’s a wild duck I found upside down at the pond at the hotel. I don’t have these things on hand because I don’t have a pet duck. I rescued a wild duck and I am attempting to get her better so she can go back to the pond with her friends. if she requires my wheelchair she definitely needs a forever home and I can not find one anywhere Except 2000 miles away from here.I’m sorry but 2 days doesn’t fix niacin issues
If I lived by you I would take her in a second and provide her with what she needs
I keep all of this stuff at all times that way I’m prepared for things that come up
I have learned a lot of Byc and keep a big supply of many things that come in handy for all kinds of things that can happen
I’m really not trying to come down on you
I just feel like we all gave you great advice anc you didn’t take it then decided she has 2 days to be better
Maybe a rehab place would be best
They can give the care she may need for the next few weeks as she gets better
They won’t put her down if you explain what you have been feeding and what is happening with her
I’m sure they know all about niacin issues and will have the supplies to help her
If she is wild then there should be rehabs for wild ducks around your area ?I been giving her this stuff for a month now. And she’s not my pet.
