When I went out to lock the chicks in their coop, the big girls were in the coop (facing the window, before had their backs to that wall). When they saw me they gave me their happy talk. I would say they love it.That looks great! So did they like the reno?
Mine don't use the nest boxes at all. I've done everything but at this point I've just taken em out lol. they all lay in the same spot, If i put the box there, they'll just go right next to it.Mine use the nesting box with no curtains.
When we put the new built coop in place, at first they laid on the floor. Hot a couple of fake eggs put in the box and they went in the box and laid after that.Mine don't use the nest boxes at all. Did you try the curtains on the box with a fake egg in there?
Have read & was told that can happen. As long as they are happy, healthy and giving eggs is what counts!yeah i put fake eggs in aswell as using a tshirt as curtains.
I haven't finished, have a roofing panel to go up and make the window closure for the winter. That big window needs a big roof overhang to keep rain out of it.
Great!! I was hoping you'd say that.I haven't finished, have a roofing panel to go up and make the window closure for the winter.
