I got 10 new chicks, and 4 new ducks, and they have been staying in my garage for the past few weeks. They are about 4 weeks old, and they are making a mess of my garage. I need to move them to the coop, where there are 6 grown chickens. Does anyone have any suggestions of what to do? I am going to get some chicken wire or netting, and build a barrier down the middle of the coop to try to keep them separated, but still don't know what else to do. Any suggestions will help. Thanks.

Definitely separate them! They are still too small to stand up to the big chickens. Keep them separated for about another month, until they are a good size. Then if you have a big yard let them out with the others and watch them. The bigger the yard the better it will be for them.

And if you can section off a little area for the chicks outside. It will help them get used to it before you put them with the others.
