It sounds like it may be egg gunk. That does look well, poopy. I prefer to leave it and let it fall off by itself, it usually doesn't take long.I have 16 eggs set.
One question: one of the chicks has this long nasty protrusion from its butt that's partly bloody, partly poopy-looking. What do I do about this?
Oh, good. I'm not messing with it for now. All the other eggs are slimed though. Ha. Maybe that's it's method for getting rid of the gunk--just spread it all over.It sounds like it may be egg gunk.
