ThanksOMG, Aschenfire, they're beautiful! I can't believe how big -- well, okay, grow up -- they look already!!! One more thing that's gonna be interesting is learning how quick a chicken grows. I love your tricolor boy, he's downright handsome (and looks like he knows it, hee!)
ThanksI love them! I think they mature quicker than other breeds. The little pullets will start laying around 14-15 weeks, and the cockerels start getting little combs within a week or two.
The tricolor boy (Dali) has always been such a snuggler, too. They all love to be held and petted, but he prefers to sit on me to anything else. I make the BESTEST roost, apparently
