Putting eggs in the bator on July 25, does anyone wanna hatch along???

Oh Dandydoodle!

That poor chick. What are your options now? Do you think he can be nursed to health or not? That is one of my biggest fears. I don't know if I would be able to end it for a chick.
My baby hatch went before my chicks did. 8lbs, 15oz. 16in head. Arms wrapped around his head by the cord, twice. Medication didn't work so it was completely natural, 12 hour labor. I had to write it down because even *I* can't believe it. I get to go home in the morning and hopefully watch my chickies hatch. My husband placed bets on time and my dad has to do all the dishes for 2 weeks.

Congrats on your human baby (biig boy!! Is he show quality? LOL!) Hope the family is doing well...new little ones of all types are exciting!

I looked at the eggs last night not a thing no crackcs no rockingThis morning a new slb baby! Where did he come from?So thrilled to have him as his sibling is alone..peeped all night long loud right next to my bedroom.Loudest chick i ever had .Happy to have more but 2 i am happy anyway.

Ok here is Mr /Miss Early bird..my Silver Laced Brahma born day19! well started tozip on day 19, took him until the middle of the night to hatch so day 20...
Today is day 20 and no other action. iIam going to worry if i dont get any star cracks by tonite. Hope he isnt the lone ranger like my black Orp baby was.He was born on day 20. early too....Thinks I'm his Mom b/c all he had was me for 2 days until others arrived UGGGG
Wonder if tis guy can go in with my last LO's
They are 3 days old now.??anybody know...?

I would give him about a day to wake up and dry off good and them put him in with the three day olds. He should be fine. I have done this before.

All these new baby pictures are making me soooo jealous. Went on lock down yesterday. Glanced at incubator tonight and thought I saw an egg wiggle. Then spent almost two hours off and on going cross eyed staring at them, but pretty sure it must have been my imagination. I have another egg that I think has a small pip but the quail eggs are so small it is hard to tell. They are not due until Sunday but hoping for an early hatch

I do that too, I guess so excited and stare so hard I think they seem to do small rocks when they don't.

Well Now I i did it .

Went to the local swap meet in town today to see what silkies etc looked like in person... not BUY and someone GAVE my grand daughter a mixed "JApanese"-Banty? I assume she meant Japanese Serama dont know though,Is tehre any other name like that?Just "Japanese"?
Anyway this hen was the tiniest thing... tiny bigger than a pidgeon.It is "blue" barred and sooo CUTE...Friendly too couldnt let it be lonely so bought its sister!... more black barred.
GEEZ i knew i'd do that.!
That picture with the tiny black chick next to the red bottle cap?... DID ME IN...and then fate stepped in...What could i do?

My 2 new baby SLB are in togther fianll yMade iwilget sleep tonitie. Better go check at #1 was picking on #2 before i left the room...So far...no more hatches from the SLB eggs ...
i have a bad feeling this is it but i have 2 so i am not totally dissapointed as i almost expected it to be this bad or worse. whne youspend too much bad carma.....Hope they are boy and girl though!!Will see.
