Putting eggs in the bator on July 25, does anyone wanna hatch along???

Hey Clucktail, don't you worry even though I am gonna hatch first I am gonna stick around to see your baby pics.

Cool! Gotta admit I'm curious to see what these mutts come out looking like! :)

We live on a lake here in Georgia and the deer are horrible. I am so glad our chickens don't mess with the garden. We haven't decided if we are gonna do deer fence or electric fence for next year. We will have to fence in our garden one way or another next season or it would be a whole lot of work for nothing. On a normal day we see at least 10 deer on our road, somedays more and some days less. They are pretty I just wish they would stay out of the garden.

Oh man, I'm thinking venison sausage.... Nectar of the carnivore gods!

Farmerboy, I can't wait to see! Well, I mean, I can wait, but I don't want to, lol! And yeah, one of these days I have to get a better camera -- all I have is the one on my cellphone and it's really not a good one at all...

does anyone want to see my chick i hatched to see how much it has gotten better ?

Yes of course, we want to see the pic of the new baby too. I don't think we have seen one of her yet.

Hmmm I just noticed you posted the pics. They are soooo cute. I know you have probably said this before are your babies mixes if so what of.

Hey, deer eat grass, chickens eat grass... It's a friendship of the stomach!

I know its funny though. I can see it if they were all hang in out in the garden or something like that. I have come out though and they will all be standing in a circle looking at each other and I am talking in about a 5 foot diameter. They look like they are having a meeting or something. LOL!!! Its cute though.

Yep, that is what my hubby thinks too. We just bought 52 acres down south a little ways, I have a feeling I might not see him much come deer and turkey season. I kind of don't want him hunting right at the house though, our house here only sits on 3 acres and I don't think I am comfortable with him shooting real close to the house and I am not sure if it is legal for to hunt in the core property or not. Anyway one way or another I think we are gonna have deer sausage come hunting season.

Not so big on the deer roasts. I am still trying to get use to deer meat.
