Putting geese outside??

These are my first geese and I was wondering if I can let them roam in my yard. I would lock them up at night, but I was just wondering if they would travel far or stick around. Or would it be better to fence them in all the time?

Keep them in the coop for a few weeks and establish the coop as a place of safety, food, treats, and warmth.
Like chickens, begin offering treats in the coop at the same time every evening (the time when you will be bringing them in at night)

Your geese won't wander off if they like home.

Mine like home but they've decided the grass is greener on the other side of the road....I have to run them back home at least once a week
