what a night seems I have had strait drama for a full week now. I need a break
Listening to tv off the local stations, my friend Su Goodman called me and said get out of there twister is headed your way, a mile wide just flattened Joplin, I looked outside but it didnt concern me at all. a little overcast. i turned on the tv and the doppler showed what Su was talking about. I hollored for Norm to bring the girls in the house and get my seramas from their habitat into a cage I put mooskla and her babies in the rabbit hutch and double strapped the hutch down to my kitchen counter. I grabbed my bator. going to the car the sky was no longer mild, it had turned black black and a mix of rain and golfball sized hail. (hail the size of oranges was falling just 40 miles from me. ) The wind just came out of no where and blew the plastic off my bator and the element got some water in it. We made our way ever so slowly because lots of large broken branches covered the road. and visibility was real bad.
Drove up to my daughters and we took so long my son in law had left to look for us. My 18 yr old grandson met me and helped me carry my animals in my bator stayed constant on no cycling at all. the red light was just blinking. for an hour I stood over the bator and unplugged it when it got to 100 degrees (my back freakin hurts right now) when plugged in the red light sorta blinked. My grandson got a blow dryer and blew dried the to to dry the water. after a while the blinking stopped, and the bator began cycling properly Yay!!! I am back home now. I tried to get a hold of Ruth who I met yesterday because she was also in the pathway of this super twister, but i have not heard from her yet.
TTY girls later Donna please pray for the poor people in joplin
