I think I've heard that White LEghorns are based on dominant white.

Have you ever had any luck producing the Lemon Pyle Wyandottes? How would we go about creating a BBRed so we could develop red pyles? I am just about to buy a small flock of high quality partridge bantam dottes from one man and then a really good quality set of white dotte bantams from another. I thought about hatching one or two hatches a year of the pure varieties and then maybe one or two of the F1s. I thought later this year about putting my Partridge roo with the white hens and vice versa. What do you think? I would love to have direct contact with you so we could maybe work on this together.
