Someone put a deposit down on three chicks So far I have three eggs ordered. I'll probably get a couple more to try to ensure I get three chicks for her.

It’s probably in this thread somewhere, but what are their laying habits? When do they start and how often do they lay?

Here in the US, they can start in November and laying season can go through to April. Hens usually lay an egg every three days until they're done for the season.

I have two eggs in, due at the end of the month.. Trying to hatch my socrates a friend (and yes, I know to keep them apart until MUCH older).. If nothing, likely will rehome socrates where he can have emu buddies.. Keeping my fingers crossed!
