Once they begin to zip, mine took about 20 minutes. Had all 4 of mine pop put during a Brooklyn Nine Nine episode in June this year.

Idk why but every video I saw said it takes 4-6 hours for quails to get out and mine are taking the same

5 of my eggs were same except one and I couldn’t see through that one so yeh

Pipping and zipping are different.

Pipping is making the hole and then adjusting to breathing air while finishing absorbing the yolk.

Zipping is when they go in a circle and cur the top of the egg off before popping out.

Popping can take almost a whole day. Zipping shouldn't

I already set their brooder:60 watt bulb,feeder,waterer,feed,wood or pine shavings

Note:um pls. Can u help me identify if it’s pine or wood Shavings? Cos it has a slight aroma type and I feel like it cedar wooded but cedar isn’t good for quails breathing and stuff it can cause various health probs

I also sprayed the wooden shavings or idk what with liquid sanitizer……………just in case
