Weird, all the information I can find says they take the same amount of time to hatch as Japanese/coturnix quail

No, not all quails take 18 days there are many different species and they take different amounts of time ,take bobwhites for instance take about 24 days

Usually, an air cell size problem can be attributed to humidity. How high did you have your humidity inside the incubator?

Are the air cells saddle or bean shaped, not round? Are any of them detached? Are any of the eggs older than the others?
