Sorry, I thought they were re-purposing some material, I did not realize that was a purchased coop.

Well, if it was re-purposed I guess it could still work, but there wasn't much being built. It's kind of unfair for the other people. We will let everyone decide later!

This was originally built for rabbits (with a slightly sloped roof), but I have since decided it was perfect for my quail. I did add a second layer of wire on the bottom (so there is one on top of the 2X4s and one on the bottom) to better predator-proof it. I also nailed the hinged top in front (it was split across the top) and put latched doors on the front. I can still open the back to clean out the cubbies.

I noticed these are all kind of short, don't you want a quail aviary to be tall so they can fly up? I am planning on making an indoor panel style aviary using the $20 wood screen doors at Lowes, with 2X2 framing. The finished aviary will be about 6 feet tall, about 8 feet long and four feet wide. I am using designs I found online. Is that allowed in the contest, or does it have to be your own designs?
